How we Started!
We started as Camposol Brownie and Guide Units in 2004. These units were so successful that in 2007 we opened the Rainbow Unit.
For a couple of years we looked for some suitable men to run a local Scouting Unit to compliment our Units. This was unsuccessful unless you can include all the Boys we picked up along the way. So after many a meeting our Leaders decided to gain the permissions to set up Joint Units so from September 2008, we became 1st Murcia Sur Guiding and Scouting, running a exciting programme which includes using the Scouting and Guiding programmes concurrently.
Where we are Now!
Well as the New and Improved Murcia Sur we have just Celebrated our 1st Birthday which coincides nicely with Girlguiding being 100 years old this year.
We have a grand total of 8 Adult Leaders and 1 Young Leader who provide fun packed and exciting evenings for 36 Young People within the 6 Units.
